The Indonesian Global Internship Program is the Government of Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for internships at top companies and organization overseas. Undergraduate and applied bachelor/vocational students could spend one semester at the overseas company and organization partners to practice what they have learned in a real world, gain a better understanding  of industries, companies and careers, innovate and get creative in solving problems, and experience work culture in different countries. The scheme is centrally managed by Directorate General of Higher Education (DGHE), Ministry of Education and Culture (MoECRT) and is open for undergraduate and vocational students from all Indonesian higher educational institutions under MoECRT.

    The target caountries of IGIP 2024 are South Korea, US, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Philipphines, Japan, Hungary, Canada, Germany, France, and Singapore. The objective of this event are prepare for your careers in companies and organiazarions. Going a better understanding of industries, companies, and careers. Experience the working cultures and customs in international settings. Develop your international network. Practice what you have learned in a real world. And also innovate and get creative in solving problems. The expected competencies like sense-making, novel and adaptive thingking,trans-disiplinarity, have social intelegence, computational thingking, new media literacy, cognitive load management, design mindset, cross cultural competency, and also virtual collaboration. The timeline of application submission is 17 - 30 April 2024.
