Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) welcomes international students to study alongside local students. Each year, the university offers the Wimaya International Scholarship (WIS) for those who wish to pursue Master’s and Doctoral programs. The WIS is offered in two schemes: Full Scholarship, which covers a wider range of benefits, and Partial Scholarship, which provides limited financial support.

The Full Wimaya International Scholarship will cover:

*Students are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale to be eligible for the scholarship allowance.

The Wimaya International Scholarship (WIS) supports international students studying at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY). Each awardee will receive a Letter of Award specifying the scholarship duration for each academic year.

Scholarship continuation requirements:

1. Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale each semester.
2. Submit an annual progress report for scholarship extension (deadline: August each year).
3. Scholarship continuation is determined based on the evaluation of semester GPA and annual progress reports.

Scholarship duration:

1. Master’s program: up to 2 years
2. Doctoral program: up to 3 years

Additional provisions:

1. The WIS allowance will be provided no later than one month after the Yudisium period.
2. Study leave is not permitted during the scholarship period.
3. If a WIS awardee stays outside Indonesia for more than 30 days, the scholarship allowance will not be granted for that period.
